Driving Community Health Forward
Driving health equity through community diagnostics
At RADray, our mission is to create more equitable healthcare outcomes by removing the physical and logistical barriers to essential diagnostics. We understand that for many in our community—particularly the elderly, the immobile, and those in underserved areas—the traditional hospital-bound model of care is a barrier to health.
A partnership for a healthier future
RADray is more than a service provider; we are an impact partner. We align our operations with the local priorities of Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to ensure that every diagnostic event contributes to a stronger, more resilient healthcare system.
Right Care, Right Time, Right Place.
Addressing social challenges in the Northwest
We actively contribute to the Social Value targets of our NHS partners by focusing on three key areas of impact:
1. Improving diagnostic access for vulnerable groups
We provide hospital-grade x-rays directly to care homes and residential settings, ensuring that patients with mobility issues or cognitive impairments receive the same level of diagnostic clarity as those able to travel. By reaching into underserved areas of the Northwest, we help close the "accessibility gap" in primary care.
2. Supporting well-being and faster intervention
Community-based diagnostics lead to faster clinical decision-making. By reducing the time between the onset of symptoms and a definitive x-ray result, we enable GPs and community teams to initiate treatment sooner. This direct intervention improves patient recovery rates and prevents the long-term deterioration of health that often follows delayed diagnosis.
3. Promoting local environmental health
Health is inextricably linked to the environment. By operating a 100% EV fleet, RADray supports cleaner air initiatives in dense urban regions like Greater Manchester. Our model removes high-emission ambulance journeys from local roads, contributing to a healthier, more sustainable community for all residents.
