Clinical leadership and vision

RADray was established to bridge the gap between traditional hospital-based imaging and the growing need for agile, community-based care. Our leadership is defined by a deep understanding of both the clinical requirements of radiography and the technical infrastructure needed to integrate diagnostics into the modern NHS.

Technical and clinical expertise

The foundation of RADray is built on over two decades of frontline experience. Our founder, Robert Dixon, is a registered radiographer with more than 24 years of experience within both clinical and technical environments.

This dual expertise allows RADray to navigate the unique challenges of community diagnostics:

  • Clinical Excellence: Ensuring hospital-grade image quality and strict adherence to IR(ME)R 2017 safety regulations in every setting.

  • Technical Integration: Leveraging a background in IT technology to ensure seamless integration, allowing diagnostic data to flow securely between community sites and NHS Trusts.

  • Innovation in Care: Applying 20+ years of insight to streamline the diagnostic pathway, specifically targeting the reduction of "commercial friction" and system bottlenecks.

Our commitment to the healthcare system

As an impact partner, we are committed to more than just providing a service. We are dedicated to supporting the long-term sustainability of the NHS by:

  • Reducing Acute Pressure: Actively diverting low-complexity diagnostics away from hospital radiology departments.

  • Enhancing Patient Outcomes: Reducing the time between injury and diagnosis to allow for faster clinical intervention.

  • Professional Integrity: Maintaining the highest standards of practice in every community interaction. All of our clinical staff are HCPC registered and are committed to upholding the HCPC standards at all times.
